Claire-Louise Bennett, Ireland

Claire-Louise Bennettwas born in Wiltshire, in South West England. After studying literature and drama at the University of Roehampton in London, she settled in Galway. Her short fiction and essays have been published in many magazines and newspapers, such as The Stinging Fly, The Penny Dreadful, The Moth, Colony, The Irish Times, The White Review, 3:AM Magazine, andgorse. In 2013 she won the inaugural White Review Short Story Prize presented by the British literary magazine The White Review.

 

Goran Ferčec, Croatia

Goran Ferčec was born in 1978 in Koprivnica, Croatia. He studied Art History and Polish Language and Literature. He is a writer, playwright, dramaturge, and a member of the editorial board of theFrakcija theatre arts magazine. His debut novel, Ovdje neće biti čuda (There Will Be No Miracles Here), was published in 2011. His play Pismo Heineru Mülleru (A Letter to Heiner Müller), which premiered in 2011, won the first prize of the “Über Grenzen Sprechen” drama contest and the Dean’s Award of the University of Zagreb.
