The Young Vilenica Award is presented by the Cultural Centre Vilenica from Sežana. The 9th Young Vilenica Award was presented in Kosovel Cultural Centre on 23 May.
The winner of the 2008 Young Vilenica Award in the age group 6 – 10 is Jana Stekar
from San Floriano del Collio, Italy.
The winner of the 2008 Young Vilenica Award in the age group 11 – 14 is Gaja Rupnik Carusofrom Idrija.
