Joanna Łępicka

Vilenica: Foreign Guests

Joanna Łępicka (1995) is a poet, literary critic, and editor associated with the Kraków School of Poetry. In her work, she reinterprets traditional poetic forms (such as the sonnet, pantoum, villanelle, sestina, and ode), while also embracing linguistic experimentation.

For her debut collection Zeszyt ćwiczeń (2023), she received the Wiesław Kazanecki Literary Award of the Mayor of Białystok and was nominated for the Gdynia Literary Prize. She is also a recipient of the Gliwice Literary Award and a Creative Scholarship of the City of Kraków.
