Writer and screenwriter Stefan Bošković (1983) graduated in Theatre Arts from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts at the University of Montenegro. For his novel Šamaranje (Slap) he received the award for the best Montenegrin debut novel in 2014. In 2020, he published the novel Ministar (Minister), for which he won the European Union Prize for Literature in 2020. He also wrote the screenplays for the short films Tranquillity of Blood (2015) and Peloid (2019), which were screened at more than 50 international film festivals. Several of his plays have been staged in Montenegrin theatres.
