Ivan Shopov

Ivan Šopov was born in 1987 in Skopje. He graduated in General and Comparative Literature from the Blaže Koneski Faculty of Philology in Skopje. So far, he has published four works: the short story collections Azbuka in izgubljeni zapisi (2010) and Antirazglednice iz Skopja (2017), the collection of prose poems Trebušček leta (2012), and the book of satirical articles Zapiski Arslana Novinarskega (2018). Ivan Šopov translates from several languages, has worked as an editor at Templum Publishing, served on the festival committee of AnOtherStory, and moderated multimedia events at the Struga Poetry Evenings. In 2019, he received the prestigious CEI Award.
