CALL FOR STUDENTS TO VOLUNTEER AT THE 40th ANNIVERSARY VILENICA INTERNATIONAL LITERARY FESTIVAL

On behalf of the Slovene Writers’ Association and the organizing team of the Vilenica International Literary Festival, we invite students to take part as volunteers at the 40th anniversary edition of the Vilenica Festival, which will take place from 8 to 13 September 2025 at various venues across Slovenia.

For four decades, the Vilenica Festival has been bringing together international literary creativity, the art of dialogue, and cultural diversity. On this special occasion, we are preparing a rich program featuring outstanding guests from Slovenia and abroad, and we are looking for reliable, motivated, and communicative individuals who would like to contribute to the successful execution of the festival.

Volunteers will assist with:

• organizational support at venues,

• guiding visitors and guests,

• helping with logistics, accreditations, and receptions,

• technical assistance and venue setup,

• other tasks agreed upon with the organizers.

What do we offer?

• insight into the behind-the-scenes of one of the most important literary events in the region,

• collaboration with domestic and international authors, translators, journalists, and other creatives,

• a certificate of completed volunteer work,

• the opportunity to attend festival events.
